I was born in Greenville, Michigan and have one brother who is still living there. My Father passed away when he was 49 years old from cancer so every day is a gift to me. My Mother is 83 and living in Florida and 2 Nieces, 2 Great Nieces and 1 Great Nephew in Michigan.

After 25 years of service with a Company due to down sizing I lost my job and was too young to retire so I went to college and earned my certificate in computers. I'm no spring chicken so it was very hard to learn but I believe that learning is what keeps us young and our minds active.

I am now working as an Administrative Assistant for a Financial consulting firm that does investments and Life Insurance. I have found that it is true that when one door closes another one opens. It is a part time position but it is now time for me to start trying to enjoy some of the good things in life. My husband and I hope to be able to do a little traveling and retire to some place warm in the near future which will be easier on my arthritis. I love getting to know new people and I cherish my special friends that have been a part of my life.
